Still trying to use brighter colors, think I had a little more success here. There's a bunch of things that I want to go and fix as usual, but right now I am too tired. Slightly rough day lol.

Lovely use of colours! That blue used to shade is a great addition. Its a really nice piece.
Did you use any special brush?

Thanks! No special brushes here, just the default hard and soft edged brushes in Photoshop.

Goodness, this is amazing. I demand a shading tutorial! May I ask if you used a specific brush to shade or just a shiz-load of colors to do this? :P

You know what's really lame? I recorded this entire painting, and the file ended up being corrupted and absolutely useless. Either I am an idiot and can't figure out how to record properly, or Camstudio is just terrible now. It's really weird because I have used it before to do the same thing for a school project and it worked just fine. -_-

As far as brushes go, the only ones I use anymore at any point in these are the default hard edged and soft edged brushes in photoshop. Mostly the hard one, I only use the soft one if I want a nice glow effect (like around the flame here). I could do a step by step type thing at some point I suppose, but only if I can't get the videos working lol.

Damn, that sucks. Have you tried HyperCam? I'm starting to use it again & works perfectly (for me, at least).
That helps! I'm still a noob to Photoshop. I'm working on something right now & I'm trying out some different techniques. Photoshop is so confusing. I'm pro at MS Paint though. Ha! Anyway, I'll try out those brushes, so thanks. c:

Hypercam was something I planned on trying today actually, will be using to record in a few minutes. And don't worry, you get used to photoshop pretty quickly :D
